Biography

Quan Yuan is a Research Scientist at Facebook. He received B.E. degree from School of Computer, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, China in 2010, and received Ph.D. degree from School of Computer Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2015. His Ph.D. supervisor is Prof. Gao Cong. During September 2014 to April 2015, he was a project officer at the Data-Intensive Scalable Computing Lab, , Nanyang Technological University. After that, he was a postdoctoral research associate in the Data Mining Research Group, Department of Computer Science, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, working with Prof. Jiawei Han.
